Lecture / Anja Foerschner


As a part PerformanceHUB program, German art historian and scholar Anja Foerschner held a lecture “Sex, violence and human body: disgust and censorship in visual arts”. The lecture for PerformanceHUB students took place at the space of Urban Incubatora, Kraljevića Marka 8, Belgrade. 

Biography of the lecturer:

Anja Foerschner is a Research Specialist at the Getty Research Institute. She holds a PhD in Art History from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Her research focuses on contemporary art from Los Angeles and the Balkans, performance art, feminist art, and the emotion of disgust in art.
