Ivana Ranisavljević, finalist for the “Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos” award in 2018

Jury for the "Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos" award: Vjera Borozan (art historian and curator, director of the National Museum of Montenegro), Jelena Mijić (artist, winner of "Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos" Award for 2017), Milica Pekić (art historian and curator, Kiosk - Platform for Contemporary Art, Belgrade), Dušan Savić (freelance curator, Belgrade), Stevan Vuković (art theoretician, Belgrade) selected five artists for the final round of the 2018 selection. These are (in alphabetical order):

The second round of jurying and interviews with finalists will be held on July 2, 2018. The jury will announce the name of the winner at the opening of the final exhibition in the Remont Gallery.

In cooperation with Residency Unlimited (New York) and with the support of the Trust for Mutual Understanding (New York), the "Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos" Award is organized and awarded annually, to individuals in the form of a study stay in New York for a duration of 8 weeks. The award, which is named after a significant artist, the vice president of conceptual art practice and art historians from the region of former Yugoslavia, Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos, will be given seventeen time this year.
